Without a doubt, the best garage I've been, I had an intermittent issue with my Corsa, which frustratingly wasn't storing a code. Chris was so accommodating and offered me to drop in anytime to try and read the code, finally we got to the route cause, and the car was fixed in 10 minutes, the day after we got the go ahead from the warranty, all the mechanics we're polite and talkative and even offered lots of advice, the whole team is a real credit to Chris, who himself went above and beyond, thank god we got given your details, will be the only garage I visit going forward. I’ve had a bit of a disappointing experience in the past with mechanics, they’ve either ripped me off or been a little shady and untrustworthy, but at Gin’s, this has not been the case. Especially the main man, Chris, he’s absolutely brilliant, top man! I’ve always been curious about how things work, and so when I went to Gin’s a week ago with a weird sound coming from my Astra when driving, Chris sat down and explained exactly what was going on, and told me exactly what he was going to do. He carried out the work, supplied the best parts on the market, and the sound had massively decreased, however it had not completely gone. So Chris stayed there with another colleague, and they both worked on my car together, even after they were supposed to close, and did not rest until they were able to find the root of the problem and fix it. They sorted it all out for me at no additional cost, if that isn’t a great guy I don’t know what is. We were fitted in for them to assess our broken exhaust and then ordered and fitted the part within the same day. Not only was the service fantastic but the pricing was reasonable too. I stopped through on the way back to Norfolk after visiting family and friends in Leicester and had an engine management light on. Chris and his team were able to diagnose the problem and repair it in a timely fashion for a very reasonable price for being in a city.
